I have always been the type of person to turn off the news. It is always so negative and listening to lying politicians always makes me mad. Let someone else deal with the issues I want no part of it. That is until they started messing with my food. I'm not working out and watching what I eat to have it blown out of the water by genetically modified junk.
Never have I been a part of any type of movement, but last May not only did I march against Monsanto I also spoke. I talked about how we need to build our communities, educate them, and get back to working together instead of against each other.
How is this about "It's Your Life?" Easy it's your body and your health at risk from these genetically modified foods. Genetically modified foods have been around since the early 90s, but in 1995 they became more predominate and continue to gain speed in consuming every ingredient in the foods we once knew to be real food.
Since 1995 we have seen a drastic rise in food allergies, autism, type 2 diabetes, Alzheimer, various cancers, and more. These are effecting the world's greatest natural resource, the children. Oh GMOs also effect your pets, so you if don't care about your self, maybe you will care about your children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, or your pets. I say that not to be harsh, but you have no idea how many people I have shared with who either don't believe me, or just don't want to know.
If we don't stop buying GMO junk they will not stop making it. If we are not educated then we get what we deserve, vitamin deficient, unhealthy, sick bodies.
For more information on GMOs visit the GMO Free page, join us on our Facebook page GMO Free Worldwide, get involved by joining The Tipping Point Network and find others in your area who are against GMOs. This is our world, our country, our bodies, our children, our planet, and our pets.
I do not love Monsanto. We grow corn and pumpkins. My local MFA only sells Monsanto corn. I was happy to go elsewhere for my seed. New follower via GFC.
