Welcome to the third Real Food Fridays Link Up. It has been a busy week, my first article on GMOs was published in the local newspaper. I turned 49, really no that can't be. For my birthday I got a teacher at the local high school who wants us to do a presentation to her three science classes on GMOs.
Our goal for the schools is to get the GMO junk out of the lunch room. We would also like to get a group of students involved with Teens Turning Green and participate in the Project Green Challenge. The challenge begins in October and runs through the whole month. Teens and college students receive daily email challenges and earn points for each challenge completed. All the challenges are geared to going green in some way. There are prizes and at least four winners will get to go to California, visit their site to learn more.
