Images of Posts Never Written

There were many blog posts I never got around to writing. I want to start the New Year clean, sooo I am going to share images with you the images that I have that were suppose to be blog posts, but I never got to, enjoy.

This is the baker's rack I bought for $5.00 at the thrift store. As you can see I used it this past summer for my seedlings.

My hibiscus seedlings, boy did I learn alot about growing these.

I replanted the hibiscus, and thought I would replant them when they got bigger, didn't happen. This was one of the lessons I learned about hibiscus, I'll do a post on this plant next fall, this plant has all the electorates our bodies need, well the flowers do.

Then there was going to be a post on the difference between eggs bought from the farm that are cage free.

Compared to those bought from the store that say cage free, organic. There is a difference believe me, maybe I'll still get to that next year.

I learned about garlic this past year. If you want to grow organic garlic you have to order it in September, or you will not find any. Even in September some sites we visited were sold out of certain breeds. It will be ready in June/July, and I'll talk more about it then.

This was the framing all done for the green house. Chicken wire goes along the bottom to keep critters out, we have the plastic on now, but it is still not totally done.

Bad picture from the 17 year's old party, had to grab a teen to get this quick picture. I made two different dips, one was actually a pizza fondue, the other, I can't remember, thought I pinned it, but nope. I also made some meatballs with taco seasoning from Simply Organic.

Oh yeah, this was good, instead of a tuna melt, I made a chicken salad melt yummy!!

A nice southern dish of mustard greens, from a neighbor, with ham hocks, from the pig we bought.

I'm going to have to write about the ground goat meat we buy at the farmer's market, and turn into breakfast sausage. Another dish I whipped out of the teen's hands to photograph before he consumed what would be a blog post, but not yet.

My teens love meatballs, and I love to make them differently, these went into spaghetti, and were pretty basic. In the future I will have to do a post on the different types of meatballs I make. Thought it would be this year, oh well.

Oh yessss!!! Bilberry Nectar, and why I drink it, it is great for the eyes.

We bought a bread maker, love it, I can make jams, and jellies in it as well.

The bread maker came with a recipe book, filled with great recipes, this is just a basic one.

Oh my this at any time would not be a good post about how the chemtrails are effecting our organic gardens.

I had one last picture to share, but in the process of writing this blog I was deleting folders. Well before I posted the picture I deleted the folder, and I'm into digging through the trash. That one was of a pizza I made, oh but it was no ordinary pizza, and I got the recipe for the crust from another blogger. Guess I'll just have to make it again, oh really not that yummy, healthy, delicious pizza, do I have to. Oh yes I do, but this time I will use the food processor we ordered. Oh yeah we did that too, along with a citrus juicer, oh the posts to come.

Okay off to make some homemade chili, and cornbread, there's another post for the New Year.

From our family to yours.

  1. Wishing a happy healthy prosperous New Year! As far as the hibiscus I have never been able to grow them from plants or seeds. I finally gave up after 4-5 trys. Sometimes the soil is not right or who knows and I know quite a few people that have told me they can't get them to grow. So don't feel bad about that. the other things they will wait for the right time. Thanks for sharing.

  4. I'm so glad I'm not the only one who has photos like these. Most of mine are from experiments that didn't turn out, though. haha
